About the Role: My client is seeking a dynamic, driven and proactive Sales & Events Manager to join their prestigious team, overseeing sales and events across two sites including one Michelin-starred restaurant. This is a hands-on, high-energy role that requires a proven sales performer with a passion for hospitality, a knack for building relationships, and a keen eye for creating exclusive dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-end, luxury environments and thrive in both proactive and reactive sales settings. You will be responsible for generating and converting new sales leads, overseeing private dining and exclusive hires, and managing a team of events coordinators to ensure flawless execution. This role demands a sales superstar who can hit targets, build strong client relationships, and elevate our brand presence in the market. Key Responsibilities: Sales-Oriented: Proactively identify new sales opportunities for private dining, exclusive hires, and special events. Reactively manage incoming inquiries and leads, converting them into successful bookings. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, driving the overall growth of the events business. Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and event planners. Event Management: Oversee all event sales, ensuring they align with the brand’s high standards and deliver an exceptional guest experience. Manage the private dining rooms (PDRs) and exclusive hires, ensuring each event is tailored to the client’s requirements. Coordinate with the Events Coordinator to ensure all event logistics, planning, and operational details are executed seamlessly. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the events coordinator who handles the planning and on-the-day operations. Provide guidance and support in sales strategies and customer interactions to ensure the team meets targets. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring repeat business and ongoing referrals.
