We are seeking talented and experienced Chef de Parties to join the team at this luxury five star hotel.

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen.

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, supervising junior chefs, and maintaining food safety standards.

The successful candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu specifications and recipes.
  • Supervise and train junior chefs, ensuring their adherence to recipes and quality standards.
  • Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control measures.
  • Ensure that all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Monitor food storage conditions to prevent spoilage or contamination.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain high standards of food presentation and portion control.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, and cooking techniques.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable establishment.
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide junior chefs.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.
