Director of Events and Catering – Unique London Venue
£65,000 + Bonus + Bens
My client is looking for a Director of Events and Catering to spearhead the sales, planning and catering operations in one of London’s largest and exciting venues.
You need to be an amazing operator, have managed a sales team, be a foodie and have solid management skills. You need to have experience in working alongside a venue client and managing a P&L.
-Lead, manage and develop the sales, operations and chef team
-Overall responsibility for the planning and delivery of all catering and retail outlets within the venue
-Manage conversion of sales and upselling
-Maintaining solid relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
-Responsible for the recruitment and training of all full time, freelance and casual staff
-Contribute to strategic planning with ideas for growth and development in new areas
-Keeping up with latest trends within the food and beverage industry
-Health & Safety and Food Hygiene compliance across all events
-Create and implement SOPs across the business
