Director of Sales – Leisure – French and German Speaking

My client, a luxurious 5-start Hotel Group based in the heart of London are looking for an experienced Director of Sales – Leisure to join their head offices in Knightsbridge.

As Director of Sales – Leisure you will manage the UK and European markets including Fashion Houses for the Hotel Group and will be reporting into the Global Head of Sales.

You will be responsible for developing close and productive working relationships with leisure agencies & corporate European companies in UK and Europe which will include FAM trips.

You will Identify current market trends recommending appropriate measures to ensure that the Group responds competitively whilst proactively seeking out new business.

You will act as communications between the necessary departments to ensure the smooth and efficient transition of bookings and events, conduct show rounds of all hotel facilities introducing key Managers and GM’s and will be responsible for evening client entertainment with hotel teams, Roadshow events and Tradeshows worldwide so some international travel will be required.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience within the luxury hotel industry, French speaking is a must and German language is highly desirable.
