My client is looking for someone to design produce and deliver truly creative concepts in response to client event briefs. This position is unique due to the structure of there team. The initial proposals and sales aspects are handled by the sales team, while the operational running of events is overseen by there operations department so you get to do the creative and foodie bit in the middle.
The Event Planner’s role is to plan and deliver exceptional events from conception through to completion in the venue. You are responsible for ensuring that relationships with clients and the venue are developed and maintained, resulting in high quality, profitable events and the achievement of targets.
·Establishing clients’ needs and presenting effective event solutions
·Conducting tastings and site visits with clients
·Liaising with suppliers, producing the event sheet for the kitchen and operations teams to work from
·Communicating all relevant information to other departments during the pre-event meetings
My client is looking for someone with great organisation skills. great attention to detail and dynamic approach. They must have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
