Exciting opportunity for an experienced & innovative General Manager to lead the team of this “Pub on Steroids,” located in the vibrant neighbourhood area of South East London.
The unique concept combines the warm and welcoming atmosphere of a traditional British pub with cutting-edge food & drink options. With an extensive selection of craft beers, artisanal cocktails, and a mouthwatering menu, they provide an unforgettable experience for our customers.
- As the General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations, financial performance, and customer experience within the venue.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire a diverse team of staff members to deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive work environment.
- Oversee all aspects of the pub’s operations, including bar, kitchen, and entertainment facilities, to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Take charge of the pub’s financial performance by monitoring revenue, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring that guests receive a memorable and enjoyable experience while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to attract new customers, build brand awareness, and drive repeat business.
- Inventory and Supply Management: Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure efficient stock rotation to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Train and develop the pub staff to deliver excellent service and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
- Foster positive relationships with suppliers, local community organisations, and other stakeholders to enhance the pub’s reputation and support business growth.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a pub or bar setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to oversee multiple aspects of the pub’s operations.
- Solid understanding of financial management and the ability to drive profitability.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent customer service and build relationships.
- Knowledge of industry trends, customer preferences, and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
