General Manager
Unique London Events Venue 50-52k plus bonus
I am currently recruiting for a confident, passionate, and commercially astute Senior General Manager to lead the catering and events team at a unique venue within London. This commercial venue is quite complex, and the ideal candidate needs to have had the experience in dealing with multiple income streams:
- Conference, Meetings and Events
- Corporate Receptions and Gala Dinners
- Weddings and Private Events
- Members Meetings and Internal Events
The General Manager needs to ensure that the venue’s reputation for quality food and service is enhanced, and the client’s needs are met to a consistently high standard.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar high-profile event venue
- Experience in managing a sales team
- Demonstrate she/he has the financial knowledge to manage this complex and multi-income stream / multi-contract
- High level of food and beverage knowledge
- Dealing with HR matters and H&S Management
- Ability to draw up reports for monthly/quarterly client review
- Client / members relationship management
