About the job:
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations across multiple gastro pub locations, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- Lead, motivate, and develop kitchen teams, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and refine seasonal menus, with a focus on modern British cuisine.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety, food hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Manage stock levels, food cost controls, and supplier relationships, optimizing operational efficiency.
- Support in the recruitment, training, and development of junior chefs and kitchen staff.
- Be a driving force behind maintaining our reputation for fine dining in a casual yet elevated setting.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef, ideally within high-end restaurants or fine dining establishments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams across multiple locations.
- Passionate about using seasonal and local ingredients, with a creative approach to menu development.
- Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health standards.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
