Events experience is essential, understanding volume, and food trends
We are recruiting a position to oversee day to day management of the kitchen team and food production for a well established events company. You will be working both in a brand new, well specced kitchen as well as on location in kitchens across London
This could suit an experienced Events Chef, or a Chef working in Hotels, and Banqueting in particular
Main responsibilities
- Manage the food production for events at the CPU and on board the vessels
- Complete scheduling for kitchen CPU and event staff
- Ensure food safety systems are being followed by kitchen staff
- Ensure food quality standards are being maintained and tasting standards are being followed through onto events
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive kitchen environment
- Assist with menu tasting and food development
Requirements
- Be passionate about food
- Event catering experience is preferred but not essential
- Be either a current Head Chef or strong Sous Chef who wants to take the next step
- Have strong leadership qualities
- Be flexible. You will be required to work some evenings and weekends where the business requires
