Events experience is essential, understanding volume, and food trends

We are recruiting a position to oversee day to day management of the kitchen team and food production for a well established events company. You will be working both in a brand new, well specced kitchen as well as on location in kitchens across London

This could suit an experienced Events Chef, or a Chef working in Hotels, and Banqueting in particular

Main responsibilities

  • Manage the food production for events at the CPU and on board the vessels
  • Complete scheduling for kitchen CPU and event staff
  • Ensure food safety systems are being followed by kitchen staff
  • Ensure food quality standards are being maintained and tasting standards are being followed through onto events
  • Create and maintain a positive and inclusive kitchen environment
  • Assist with menu tasting and food development


  • Be passionate about food
  • Event catering experience is preferred but not essential
  • Be either a current Head Chef or strong Sous Chef who wants to take the next step
  • Have strong leadership qualities
  • Be flexible. You will be required to work some evenings and weekends where the business requires
