I am looking for a venue operator ideally from a unique venue or historic venue background for this exciting opportunity

·Effectively manage a proactive, dynamic team to deliver excellent event management t

·Recruit, train and manage the events and operations team

·To host weekly planning meetings with all event related departments

·Act as the lead operations manager for high profile complex events s

·Planning and coordination of the support required for events, including setting the monthly operations rota

·Oversee the installation of pop up events and marquee

·To safeguard the venues furniture and fittings

·The supervision of all sub-contractors engaged by clients and working at the venue, including receipt and review of appropriate RAMS where required

·The management on site of security, cloakroom, cleaning and utility staff for events

·The management of external caterers such as kosher and Asian caterers where necessary

·The supervision of the contractors “get out”, ensuring the complete clearing of the premises after each event

·Act as the nominated health and safety representative for the events team

·To be acquainted with all health and safety legislation affecting events

·Preparing risk assessments for generic and, where necessary, specific events

·Act as the point of contact for the Council with a review on licencing
