We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to join the team of this well established and highly regarded restaurant in the heart of Central London.

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day to day restaurant’s operations. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth functioning of the establishment, maintain high-quality service standards, and drive the restaurant’s profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the restaurant staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service by setting and maintaining high standards for staff performance.
  • Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including staffing, rota, and stock management.
  • Monitor and maintain restaurant hygiene and cleanliness standards, ensuring compliance with all current health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of food and beverage offerings.
  • Oversee financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints in a professional and efficient manner, striving to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction.

About you:

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house procedures.
  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Knowledge of Central London’s Restaurant scene and customer preferences is a plus.
