We are seeking a dedicated and experienced & wine focused Restaurant Supervisor to join the team of this celebrated Restaurant in the heart of Notting Hill.As a Supervisor, you will work closely with the Manager to overseeing the day-to-day operations on the restaurant floor, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service.
A big focus of this role will be to assume responsibility for the wine service within the Restaurant, you don’t have to be a Sommelier but a solid base knowledge would be an advantage!
About the job:
- Working closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure the smooth running of operations
- Oversee the Wine service within the restaurant
- Supervise the restaurant team during service
- Train and mentor new staff members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of service provided to guests and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery
About you:
- WSET Level 2 + would be an advantage
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a quality restaurant
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
