Position Overview:

They are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales & Events Executive to join their team. This role focuses on selling and planning events at an exquisite venue. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring the seamless execution of events, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other stakeholders.
    • Conduct site visits, presentations, and negotiations to secure bookings for the venue.
    • Prepare and present proposals and contracts tailored to clients’ specific needs and budgets.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Event Planning & Coordination:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through to event execution.
    • Understand clients’ visions and requirements, offering creative solutions to meet their needs.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, including catering, operations, and logistics, to ensure all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly.
    • Oversee event timelines, budgets, and logistics, ensuring all details are meticulously planned and executed.
    • Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather feedback and nurture long-term client relationships.
  • Venue Management:
    • Maintain a deep understanding of the venue’s unique features, capabilities, and offerings.
    • Ensure the venue is presented in its best light for all client visits and events.
    • Collaborate with the operations team to manage venue availability, maintenance, and operational aspects.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales, event planning, or a related field, preferably within the hospitality, events, or catering industry.
  • Strong understanding of event sales and marketing principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
