Job Description

My client is a premium London caterer with a portfolio of iconic heritage venues including livery halls. Renowned for exceptional service, creative event delivery, and long-standing partnerships. due to new accredited venues they are expanding the team and looking for a dynamic Sales & Events Executive to support both sales generation and event planning across multiple sites.

The Role

As Sales & Events Executive, you’ll be the first point of contact for enquiries, responsible for securing business, nurturing relationships, and planning flawless events from proposal to delivery. You will work closely with the Sales Manager, Head of Sales, venue teams, and operations managers to ensure every event reflects our high standards.

  • Respond to incoming enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings
  • Prepare tailored proposals, menus, costings, and site visit schedules
  • Proactively build relationships with clients, agents, and venue contacts
  • Support with sales campaigns, showcases, networking events, and venue promotions
  • Conduct detailed event planning meetings with clients
  • Produce accurate function sheets, timelines, and logistics documents
  • Liaise with chefs, operations teams, and suppliers to deliver seamless events
  • Attend events where required to support delivery and ensure client satisfaction
  • Work across a cluster of historic London venues (including Livery Halls)
  • Understand the nuances, traditions, and requirements of Livery events
  • Assist with diary management, site visits, and venue show-arounds
 

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in sales and/or event planning within hospitality, catering, or venues
  • Experience working with or within London Livery Halls is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Confident communicator with excellent client-facing abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
  • Passion for delivering exceptional experiences and building long-term relationships
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic team player
