They are looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager to drive the success of their events business, enhance brand visibility, and ensure the venue remains a sought-after destination.
Job Overview:
As the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase venue bookings, enhance market presence, and build relationships with clients. You will oversee all sales initiatives, digital marketing campaigns, and brand collaborations. Your goal is to maximize the use of our unique spaces while maintaining the prestige and heritage of the building.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to increase bookings for corporate events, private parties, weddings, and other special occasions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, and client engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with event planners, corporate clients, and local businesses to promote the venue.
- Conduct site visits, presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, reporting directly to senior management.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Create and execute a marketing strategy that includes digital, social media, email marketing, and PR to raise the profile of the venue.
- Develop promotional materials (brochures, digital content, etc.) to showcase the unique selling points of the venue.
- Manage the venue’s online presence, including the website and social media platforms, ensuring consistent branding and engagement.
Event Management Support
- Work closely with the events team to ensure smooth client handovers post-sale, ensuring that the client’s vision is brought to life.
- Attend major events to represent the venue and build relationships with clients.
- Monitor client feedback and work with the events team to continuously improve service offerings.
Market Research & Reporting
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, marketing campaigns, and client feedback to senior management.
