Senior Event Planner’s role – planning and delivering exceptional events from conception through to completion. You are responsible for ensuring that relationships with clients and venues are developed and maintained, resulting in high quality, profitable events and the achievement of targets.
-Establishing clients’ brief and creating spectacular and creative events
-Conducting tastings, upselling at all opportunities
-Liaising with suppliers, producing the high quality and comprehensive event sheet for the kitchen and operations teams to work from
-Communicating all relevant information to other departments during the pre-event meetings to ensure the services meets and exceeds clients’ expectations
-Attending events to liaise with the client and venue.
-Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of event trends both across design and food.
-Building great relationships with venues to make you the go to caterer for there events.
-Complying with the requirements of Health and Safety/Food Safety policy and procedures and observing safe working practices both at base and at events
-Assisting and developing junior members of the event planning team
– As a Senior Event Planner you will be in charge of the larger venues and events.
The ideal candidate will be instantly bright and bubbly with great personable skills. You will be an excellent team player, able to communicate at all levels and commit to sharing your knowledge and skills.
You will be able to design, produce and deliver truly creative events in response to a client brief and be a highly organised and driven individual. You must be a real foodie who loves the London restaurant and event scene. You will ideally come from an event catering background and have 2 plus years in a planning role.
