We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join the culinary team at an award-winning Japanese restaurant Located in the heart of Knightsbridge. As Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in leading the kitchen team and ensuring the high standards of the restaurant are maintained.

You will work closely with the head Chef to create and execute modern and refined Japanese dishes that delight their loyal clientele. Working with some of the highest quality and sustainable suppliers in the UK this is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Sous Chef looking for their next step.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and execute innovative Japanese dishes.
  • Assist in day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  • Lead Kitchen team in the absence of Head Chef.
  • Train & develop kitchen staff.
  • Uphold the restaurant’s commitment to excellence in customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven Sous Chef experience in fine dining restaurants or similar settings.
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Creative and passionate about Japanese cuisine.
