Central London
£44,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Paid Overtime
Monday to Friday | 08:00–16:00 | No Weekends

We are recruiting for an exceptional Sous Chef to join a prestigious private institution in central London. This is a rare opportunity to work in a high-end environment delivering fine dining experiences without the late nights or weekend pressures.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the Head Chef in leading a dynamic and professional kitchen team.
  • Producing innovative, high-quality dishes for a range of services including a premium buffet, fine dining, private meeting rooms, and high-profile events.
  • Upholding exceptional standards across prep, presentation, and service.
  • Helping to develop junior chefs and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Occasionally assisting with pastry – pastry experience is a plus.
Who We’re Looking For:

  • A Junior Sous ready to step up – or an established Sous Chef looking for improved work-life balance.
  • Background in 5-star hotels, fine dining restaurants, or elite catering environments is essential.
  • Excellent man-management and communication skills.
  • Calm, professional, and quality-focused with a creative touch.
  • Pastry experience is desirable but not essential.

What’s On Offer:

  • £44,000 base salary
  • Monday to Friday – 08:00–16:00
  • Discretionary performance bonus (Approx £5-7k)
