Job Description

We are seeking, a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join the culinary team at a unique venue located in the heart of the city of London. As Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation are maintained.

You will work closely with the head Chef to create and execute modern and innovative dishes for their loyal clientele. This a unique venue offering an intimate chef table experience, so experience in fine dining restaurants is essential.

This is a great opportunity for a fine dining Sous Chef looking for a better balance as the role is Monday to Friday.

 Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and execute innovative and modern dishes.
  • Assist in day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
  • Train & develop junior staff.
  • Uphold the business’s commitment to excellence in customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven Sous Chef experience in high-end restaurants or Similar settings.
  • Strong knowledge of modern cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Creative and passionate about modern cuisine.
  • Comfortable working in a customer-facing role
