I have an exciting opportunity, for a skilled Sous Chef to help open a beautiful Pan Asian restaurant and cocktail bar in the heart of Beckenham. Serving modern Pan Asian cuisine and exotic cocktails it is bound to be a hit with the local area.

As the Sous Chef you will play a crucial role in the business, supporting the Head Chef and helping to drive the team forward. This is a great opportunity for a driven Sous Chef wanting to take their career to the next level.

Responsibility’s:

  • Help Design and develop an exciting pan Asian menu.
  • Assist in training and developing kitchen staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
  • Manage food costs and maintain inventory levels.
  • Oversee day to day running of kitchen in absence of head chef.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a Pan Asian restaurant or a similar culinary setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pan Asian cuisine, cooking techniques, and ingredients.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Creativity and a passion for creating unique and memorable dishes.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management Skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
