Welcoming Jim Lovett, A Heavyweight in Contract Catering Joins Change as Non-Executive Director

We’re thrilled to announce that Jim Lovett has joined Change as our new Non-Executive Director.

With over two decades of experience in the contract catering world, Jim brings with him deep insight and a track record of growing and transforming businesses. Jim has played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of catering across Care, Education, and B&I. As CEO of the Waterfall Group, he transformed the business from a small regional player into one of the largest and most successful independent contract catering groups in the UK; home to powerhouse brands like Caterplus and Taylor Shaw before leading a strategic exit via acquisition by Elior.

Jim’s career also includes senior leadership roles at big players such as Sodexo and he’s known not just for his commercial acumen, but for building people-first cultures that deliver long-term impact.

He brings with him a deep understanding of sector trends, operational excellence, and how to scale businesses with purpose. As Change continues to grow and evolve, Jim’s guidance and experience will be invaluable in helping us unlock our next phase of strategic growth.
