Change Hospitality is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of London’s most respected and design-led restaurant groups for an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join their talented kitchen brigade.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly acclaimed restaurant known for its creative approach to food, exceptional ingredients, and commitment to craftsmanship. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an innovative pastry offering while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.

The Role

As Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the pastry section in the preparation and presentation of desserts, breads, and baked goods, ensuring every dish reflects the restaurant’s exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute a range of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked items.
  • Maintain consistency and attention to detail across all pastry production.
  • Assist with menu development and seasonal pastry creations.
  • Ensure excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Manage mise en place effectively and contribute to a smooth service.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Chef de Partie within a quality-driven restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong technical pastry skills and a genuine passion for the craft.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a busy service environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality.
  • A desire to learn, develop, and grow within a leading hospitality business.
