We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Events Venue Manager to join a leading large-scale London venue, delivering a diverse programme of live events, corporate functions, exhibitions, and public experiences.
This is a venue-side role responsible for the safe, compliant, and seamless operational delivery of events from initial planning through to live execution and debrief.
As Events Operations Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end operational planning and delivery of events, ensuring the highest standards of health & safety, licensing compliance, security management, and audience experience.
You will work closely with internal departments, promoters, production teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure all events are delivered safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard.
-Lead operational planning and live delivery for a wide range of events
-Develop and manage detailed event operational plans and timelines
-Oversee all venue health & safety procedures and compliance standards
-Produce and review event risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
-Manage venue licensing requirements and ensure full regulatory compliance
-Coordinate security operations, stewarding, crowd management, and emergency procedures
-Liaise with production teams regarding technical and logistical requirements
-Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs
-Manage contractor and supplier relationships on-site including with the onsite catering team
-Ensure smooth communication between all operational stakeholders
-Support incident management and reporting where required
You will be an experienced operations professional with a strong background in live events, venues, or large-scale entertainment environments.
-Proven experience in event operations within a venue, arena, stadium, or large-scale events environment
-Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice
-Experience managing venue licensing and compliance requirements
-Skilled in producing risk assessments and operational documentation
-Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
-Calm under pressure with strong decision-making ability
-Flexible approach to working evenings and weekends as required
