Change Hospitality is delighted to be recruiting for an exceptional Sous Chef opportunity with one of London’s most exciting and acclaimed restaurant groups.

This restaurant is celebrated for its bold, ingredient-led cooking, blending Middle Eastern and Mediterranean influences with modern techniques and a strong focus on fire-led cuisine. The menu showcases vibrant flavours, seasonal produce, premium ingredients, and dishes designed for sharing, creating a dynamic and memorable dining experience.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented Sous Chef to join a high-performing kitchen, working alongside an experienced leadership team within a business known for creativity, quality, and innovation.

The Role

As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in leading a busy, ambitious kitchen, ensuring exceptional standards across every service. You will play a key role in mentoring the brigade, maintaining consistency, and helping to drive the restaurant’s culinary vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Leading and inspiring the brigade during service
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of food quality and presentation
  • Assisting with ordering, stock control, and food cost management
  • Training and developing junior chefs
  • Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
  • Taking responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence

About You

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
  • Background working in quality-led restaurants with fresh, seasonal produce
  • Experience with Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, open-fire, or sharing-style concepts would be advantageous
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for creative cooking and delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Calm, organised, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
