Congratulations! It’s The Ripe Avocado’s 1st Birthday – what a huge achievement. Can you tell us a bit about your journey in hospitality and what led you to starting The Ripe Avocado?
It feels more like ten years than just one! I’ve worked with many caterers—eventually running a few—but my journey actually started in property. After college, I became a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, working on construction sites while studying part-time for a degree in Construction Management. I’d spend two days a week at university and the rest on-site, measuring and surveying.
