The restaurant is known for its excellent cuisine, warm ambiance, and top-notch service. As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the whole of this establishment.


  • Assisting the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
  • Leading and inspiring a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen staff to maintain high-quality food and beverage standards, ensuring consistency and customer satisfaction.
  • Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and monitoring expenses to maximize profitability while maintaining budgetary guidelines.
  • Implementing and maintaining operational policies and procedures to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Handling guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring guest satisfaction through proactive engagement.
  • Assisting in recruitment, selection, and training of new team members to maintain a high-performing and motivated team.


  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle guest concerns and resolve issues effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.
  • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
