General Manager wanted for this vibrant, diverse and stylish all-day dining operation located in the heart of East London.

As the General Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of the busy, diverse all day dining Restaurant. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant management, including staff supervision, customer service, financial management, and operational excellence. Your leadership will contribute to the mission of providing an outstanding dining experience and fostering a friendly, diverse & inclusive atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of dedicated staff members, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting teamwork.

Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by training and coaching staff to deliver top-notch hospitality.

Operations: Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.

Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability while maintaining quality.

Quality Control: Ensure food and beverage quality, consistency, and presentation meet our high standards.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager in the restaurant industry, with a track record of success.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage trends, as well as health and safety regulations.
  • A flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Relevant certifications or degrees in hospitality management or related fields are a plus.
