Job Purpose:
As the Head Chef, you will lead the kitchen brigade in delivering an exceptional culinary experience. The venue will comprises of a modern international grill restaurant, a bar destination concept, In Residence Dining delivery service, and a pop-up roof deck for year-round activations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, staff management, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement an award-winning F&B experience, reflecting the restaurant’s concept and target clientele.
- Lead a dynamic kitchen team, inspiring them to deliver exceptional culinary delights to our guests.
- Collaborate with the Deputy General Manager and General Manager on menu development and food quality maintenance.
- Work with external catering partners for major event hospitality during key events
- Manage departmental Profit & Loss, including forecasting and budget planning.
- Implement and maintain departmental procedures, policies, and checklists to streamline operations.
- Ensure staff schedules, holidays, and leaves are coordinated to achieve maximum staff and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain open communication with other department heads to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Participate in the preparation and execution of hotel goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar position within a leading 5 star Hotel or Restaurant.
- Strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering an outstanding dining experience.
- A creative mind with a focus on premium grilled dishes and innovative menu creations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
