We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Logistics to lead the planning and delivery of logistics operations across a portfolio of high-profile live events, premium hospitality experiences, and international sporting projects.

This is a senior operational leadership role requiring exceptional organisational capability, strong stakeholder management skills, and extensive experience delivering complex, fast-paced events to the highest standards.

The successful candidate will oversee logistical planning, procurement, supplier management, operational delivery, equipment and asset management, and team leadership across UK and international events. You will be a proactive leader who thrives under pressure, drives operational excellence, and consistently delivers outstanding guest experiences.

• Lead and support complex, multi-agency operational planning processes.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, venues, contractors, suppliers, production teams, and clients.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and systems that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
• Support wider event operations teams where required, adapting to changing project demands and priorities.
• Lead special projects and operational improvement initiatives, including procurement strategies and process development.
• Manage high-value tenders, supplier negotiations, and contractual relationships.
• Identify and manage local suppliers and operational partners in international markets.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the Logistics team, ensuring clear objectives, accountability, and continuous development.
• Oversee the management and maintenance of company-owned equipment, including heavy equipment and catering support kit.
• Ensure regular stock takes are completed and losses, damages, and storage standards are properly managed.
• Manage large and complex operational budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Identify and implement cost-control measures and commercial efficiencies across projects.
• Support post-event financial reconciliation alongside Event Managers.
• Ensure all logistics operations comply with health and safety legislation, food safety standards, and event regulations.
• Lead risk assessment activity.
• Oversee breakdown operations, ensuring sites are cleared professionally and compliantly.

About You

• Significant experience delivering large-scale live events, ideally within premium hospitality, catering, sporting, or cultural events.
• Proven experience leading complex operational and logistics functions within fast-paced environments.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience managing large operational budgets and financial reporting.
• Strong procurement and supplier management experience.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of health and safety legislation and event compliance.
• Demonstrable experience in risk assessment and operational mitigation planning.

• Flexibility to travel internationally and work extended hours during live events.
