Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organised Sales & Events Executive to join their busy events team at a prestigious Central London venue.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established events business, delivering a wide range of high-profile corporate, private and internal events. The venue offers a collection of elegant and versatile event spaces, hosting everything from conferences, exhibitions and product launches to weddings, private dining and networking events.

Working closely with the Venue Sales Manager, you will play a key role in converting enquiries, coordinating events from enquiry through to delivery, and ensuring an exceptional client experience throughout the planning process.

Reporting to the Venue Sales Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding promptly to event enquiries.
  • Liaising with prospective and existing clients to understand their requirements and prepare bespoke event proposals and quotations.
  • Managing confirmed events from contract stage through to final planning.
  • Preparing contracts, event documentation and detailed function sheets.
  • Coordinating corporate, private and internal events.
  • Supporting key events and assisting with event logistics where required.
  • Conducting venue show rounds for prospective clients.
  • Managing all event administration and maintaining accurate client records.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Coordinating event requirements through to final confirmation.
  • Managing event finances and supporting the invoicing process.
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell services and maximise event revenue.
  • Working towards individual and team sales targets.
  • Maintaining and updating the venue diary and CRM system.
  • Attending regular one-to-one meetings, sales meetings and team updates.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 1 years’ experience in an event planning or event sales role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence working with clients, suppliers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent numerical and administrative skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to remain calm and organised under pressure.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
