I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected events and catering company based in East London who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Wedding Planner to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented wedding professional who enjoys building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional events from concept through to execution. You’ll be joining a business with an excellent reputation for creating unforgettable weddings and events across London and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As Senior Wedding Planner, you’ll take ownership of weddings from the initial enquiry through to the big day, ensuring every detail is meticulously planned and flawlessly delivered.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing multiple weddings and events simultaneously.
• Acting as the main point of contact for couples throughout the planning process.
• Producing proposals, quotations, timelines and event schedules.
• Coordinating with venues, suppliers and the in-house catering and operations teams.
• Managing budgets and ensuring events are delivered commercially.
• Conducting venue visits and client meetings.
• Overseeing weddings on the day where required.
• Mentoring junior members of the events team and supporting the continued growth of the department.

About You

I’m keen to speak with candidates who have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in wedding or luxury event planning.
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality weddings from start to finish.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Outstanding communication and client relationship abilities.
• The confidence to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends during peak event periods.
